How do plan payments and activation work?
Choose a plan to review the current quote in your signed-in billing workspace. Manual UPI instructions or an approved payment link appear only when the administrator has configured receiver details. Make any payment in your own payment app, then submit its reference for review. A reference is not proof of payment: your request stays pending until an authorized administrator independently verifies receipt and activates the subscription. No automatic gateway charging or recurring debit is integrated.
Can I try it before adding my own records?
Yes. Open the live demo to explore a separate fictional dairy with sample farmers, customers, milk entries and payments. Demo records are labeled and kept separate from your business account.
Does every dairy have to use the same milk rate?
No. A dairy can use a flat price, milk-type rates, a fat chart, or a fat/SNF matrix. Each saved collection stores the rate and calculation used at the time, so updating a chart does not change past amounts.
What happens when the internet goes down?
Previously synchronized records remain viewable on the same device. You can save collection drafts offline. Drafts are clearly marked as unconfirmed, and require a successful server sync before they count toward stock or farmer balances. Keep your device locked and sign out on shared devices.
Can I track partial payments and customer dues?
Yes. Confirmed deliveries create customer receivables. Record partial or full payments against the correct customer and keep the remaining balance visible. Procurement and farmer payments are tracked separately.
How do I install it on an Android phone?
Open Doodh Hisaab in a supported Android browser such as Chrome. Use the browser menu and choose Install app or Add to home screen. The option appears when the app is served securely and your browser supports installation.
Is the AI assistant already connected?
The assistant has a functional help and FAQ mode without an AI provider. Live AI needs a provider configured securely by the administrator. It can only retrieve authorized business records, and does not invent missing financial figures or execute arbitrary database queries.
Will collection receipts be sent on WhatsApp?
You can open a prefilled WhatsApp message and choose to share it manually. Automatic messaging requires an approved WhatsApp Business provider and is not activated by default.
Can I record milk in kilograms instead of litres?
This pilot records milk in litres only and rejects kilogram entries. Separate kilogram stock ledgers are planned. It never silently converts kilograms into litres.
Who can see my dairy's accounts?
The backend checks the signed-in user's dairy and permissions. An owner can access their own business; staff financial access needs explicit authorization. Dedicated farmer and customer login portals are planned and are not included in this pilot. Use individual accounts rather than sharing passwords.
Can I export my dairy records?
Use Reports in the signed-in workspace to download supported reports from your own saved records. Reports distinguish sales revenue, purchase costs, operating expenses and estimated gross margin.
